Using too much resources (100MB memory !!!). Need an optimization and a little trimming at the edges.

It's okay but Kopete is much better.
Tried to use it once in an effort to secure our communications. Spark is much like Office Live Communicator in that you can't do much with it. The peeps didn't care for the interface either
I was trying it in a little LAN corporation with a mounted OpenFire server. Spark, like a client, was using more than 50 MB of RAM.
Pidgin is a better choice, using less than 20 MB with started sessions.
