Specto is a desktop application that will watch any user-specified events (web, folder, ...). This will allow users, for instance, to specify a website to watch, and Specto will automatically check for updates on the web page. It will then notify the user when there is activity. This will allow the user to be informed of new updates/events instead of having to look out for them.

    1.) The tray icon doesn't appear in jaunty at all times. 2.) The preferences is a bit buggy, when you view the preferences again after changing something, they're back to default.

    A simple and efficient desktop Web-watcher. Watches updates on web pages, email or facebook accounts. Well integrated with Gnome notification system. Still a developement version in constant improvement. Linux only for now

    Has quite a few bugs... Overall it promises to be good but at the moment it is not even usable for me.
