Spotify is an online music service offering users the ability to stream music on demand using proprietary technology. Spotifly plans to roll out invites to their free service gradually over the coming months, while premium access to Spotify has now been made fully available (the premium subscription service is without advertising). Recently Spotify has signed licensing deals with companies including Universal Music Group, Sony BMG, EMI Music, Warner Music Group, Merlin, The Orchard and Bonnier Amigo. If you don't want to spend money on music singles/ablums at the shops, then listen to any song you want for free! New songs are submitted nearly everday.… More Edit

@secondgas:
There are some tools to make last.fm and spotify talk together, amongst them a nice greasemonkey script. :)

Lo que más utilizo para escuchar música
не знаю не пробывал, ща развинтим
so much on here, so quick, good quality. fantastic. could do with learning a bit from last.fm in terms of recommendations, its tricky to browse like you can in last.fm or itunes.
I'm not a big fan of the interface and I'd love some more configuration options but it's just amazing if you don't own a lot of music (or HDD space is limited). The streaming is so fast you might even forget it's over an internet connection.
The new premium features look great too (offline listening for example).
I love spotify. much nicer than last.fm. thinking about upgrading to the premium service so I can use it on my iphone
You got to love this.
It's simply perfect.
@gamer:
I find Spotify's interfaces and features great, when comparing with other streaming services like Deezer of Jiwa.
As for the bandwidth problems, if you're talking about download, Spotify caches the tracks, and you can set the cache size up to 100 GB. Plus if you have a premium subscription you can make certain playlists available offline, so you're sure Spotify won't need to download when you listen to them.
(Great when you're at work and don't want to eat your company's bandwidth. :) )
Only haf stars for Features and Interface. I want to see the almost perfect to have that much open space to be developed even futher! Great program!.. But sometimes takes too much bandwith off my 1mb connection (well basically uses ALL OF IT, so spotify is big "no no" while trying to go for online gaming..
Is there a way to get an invite key? I hid my IP as a UK address, and they recognized me as a UK address, but I was wondering how you can get an invite key. I haven't gotten anything under my email yet. Do you know how long it normally takes?
Its like radio but you pick every single song that is played and its free, amazing.
Spotify is the bomb! (copying the guy in the Spotify UK ad)
