For the speed of the music streams it's probably unbeatable and I look
forward to seeing it grow. However it still doesn't beat my personal music
collection for all the music I love. It's still pretty great though and everyone
loves free music. I read somewhere a description of Spotify as being a mix of
iTunes and Last.fm which seems a pretty fair summary so I'll just leave it at
that.
This little program is great - fantastic library, free, and the playlist
sharing feature is what seals the deal for me. Could be a little prettier and
would love more interplay with last.fm (though it scrobbles just fine) but this
is a terrific application.
Small and ugly, but it does what it promises. Huge music library and I mean
HUGE. The streaming sound quality is okay for my needs. Overall the best
streaming music service so far. Hoping for more features in the future such as
social networking with other spotifiers, portable, better integration with
last.fm and a mobile version.
Sweet music, sweet interface but sadly too little of features.
There's no advanced audio nor streaming issues, no "library"
(imagine a lib with all the songs you've "liked") and there's no way
to listen while offline.
Needs more features like higher volume, more management but except for those
two things - it's rather sweet.

It's my favorite music player. Through Spotify you'll get to enjoy a totally different music experience.
find it very hard double clicking on an mp3 file after using this software.
