Multiplicity is a new program that lets you control multiple computers with a single keyboard and mouse.
If you've ever used a multiple monitor equipped PC, then you can imagine how Multiplicity works. Each monitor is connected to its own PC. When the user moves the mouse over to a given monitor, the user is then controlling that PC.
It's ideal for power users, engineers, graphics designers, gamers, or anyone else who has ever seen the benefit of multiple monitors but wants the full power of multiple computers working seamlessly together. Multiplicity Pro even lets you copy and paste folders/files between machines.
Please note: Multiplicity is not a "remote desktop" application. Each system continues to need its own monitor to display that PC. Multiplicity is used to seamlessly move between multiple machines and control them from one primary PC.

I love Synergy, it's an amazing app. But when I have to only move between two Windows machines, InputDirector beats it to a pulp. Synergy has a lot small of bugs in Vista which can be annoying once you encounter and it's very sparce on functionality... which is fine until you use something like Input Director and you see what you're missing out on.
The security features are a dream and ability to adjust the refresh rate allows me to play games on the slave where as I couldn't in Synergy because it was updating too slowly.
But yeah... only for Windows. :( If only the Input Director and Synergy projects merged, that would be heaven.
Instead of dual monitors why not control two or three machines at the same time, seamlessly. This is all done in software without a KVM switch. Can copy and paste files between computers simply by moving your mouse from one screen to another. Awesome application.
