Steam has come a long way from its early stages.
I remember when it first took up tons of resources, and the friends system
was functioning one day of the week, and it crashed all the time it seemed.
Now, the friends list works most of the time, you can have your own
condensed myspace-like page that includes stats on your playing hours, and the
groups addition keeps making Steam a program that will trump (or already has)
similar programs such as Xfire. The times have changed.
