You should really try Sublime Text if you are looking for textmate like snippet features built in.
The Minimap, Permute Lines/Selection and regex support in find/replace function is cool. But it should have good documentation, a settings editor instead of using flat files to extend its user base and to deserve that license cost.

I haven't bought this piece of software, but I'm sure I will as soon as my trial runs out. It runs perfectly, and works awesome. It got all cool stuff like synthax skins, snippets, auto complete, spell checking (which is synthax aware!), and the interface is just purely awesome. I recommend this piece of software to everyone. :)
