The 25th most popular editor on Windows
Did you create this application?SUPER (Simplified Universal Player Encoder & Renderer) is a front-end for several command line tools. It prides itself on supporting many different input and output formats at no cost, as well as being very easy to use without any training or previous knowledge of video software. Edit

I've gotten some encodes that aren't exactly what I set them for but besides that its a good app.
Simplified?
It does the job, but the interface is far too complex!
A great little utility that is capable of converting just about any media file to just about any other media file format. Also allows for resizing of video files for devices such as an iPod, or BlackBerry.
Отличный конвертер, полностью устраивает.
While I can agree that the download link is very hidden, I think majority of it is due in part that they only have their ad revenue to support them. After all Super is FREE, so where else are they going to get some funding?
The pedantics aside, this works out perfectly for what I need. The interface isn't that hard to get acquainted to, unless you're used to the GUI-for-retards interfaces where everything is in huge buttons and spelled out for you.
I had very quick learning curve to get associated with it, change settings for videos and start encoding to my flavor of choice. I switched to this after using proprietary software for my HD PVR, since it had no support for MOV H.264 and AAC. I'm also encoding from MT2S so there was also more requirements for myself.
I love that I can change the resolutions to my hearts contents, change around bitrates, add a [basic] watermark, and a whole bunch of other options that I rarely ever use.
The encoding is almost 70% faster than the other program I was using.
I can't see myself changing for anything else, especially since MOV is a must have output for me. Mediacoder had no support for MOV so it was an obvious choice to skip over it and not care.
Powerful is correct, but just like mencoder, the interface takes a lot of time to get used to. Definitely not for the novice or impateient.
Very powerful and not for the impatient.
Lifesaver
too complicated even for me
Looking for the download link took me AGES! The layout of everyting these people make is HORRIBLE. I can't use this software its way to user unfriendly.
I uploaded the torrent of this program to stop irritated users like me having to trawl through the website to find the download link. On a positive note this does exactly what it says on the tin and i wouldnt use anything else.

The price of this program is free -- less the time you spend trying to find the goddamned download link. That's why I only gave it one star, because it's batshit RETARDED.
Once you get it though, it's pretty excellent. The interface is a bit stupid at times, and has this terrible habit of stealing focus like a little attentionwhore, but it does what it says it does and it does it WELL.
It may SEEM dodgy, but it's really worth it. Check it out.
It took me a while to find the download link. The download wouldn't appear on an adblocked, noscripted, flashblocked Firefox so I had to resort to Internet Explorer.
Here's how I had to go through the links (in brackets)
From http://www.erightsoft.net/SUPER.html
1. [Start Downloading] SUPER © right now and discover this
2. Multimedia software to [download and use]
3. [Download SUPER © setup file]
or you can search SUPERsetup.exe and get it somewhere else. Torrent, p2p, or whatever.

This the first and only video converter you would need. 3GP, divx, mpeg4 (ipod & psp as well), wmv, mp3, ogg, it has all the popular video and audio formats. Even the Nintendo DS! The interface is straightforward and has the specific options for the audio and video. And it's freeware best of all. No BS.
Highly recommended.
To begin with, downloading this program from the official site is a nightmare, it takes at least five minutes for even the most eagle-eyed. It's one of the worst laid out sites I have ever seen. It might be on purpose, in order to create more ad revenue with people going in circles. Seriously! There isn't even a button that says download. It's a text link in 14 point font 3 pages in! Anyways, this program is probably pretty decent, but it has one major, extremely stupid flaw. In some cases, it will not open no matter what. This is because it cannot render itself properly in anything less than 1280x1024 resolution. I could go out and buy a new monitor, but that's kind of a stretch. What's so wrong about this is that the majority of people have a 1024x768. Check it. http://marketshare.hitslink.com/report.aspx?qprid=17 At the time of writing this, 46.08% of people use them. Fuck this shit. Get MediaCoder.
it is gr8 software for conversion
