Excellent piece of software to run to get rid of many XP problems with malware.

Fast, easy to use and one of the best programs I have.

Doesn't have the best detection rate, but i can say it's good.

Not the nicest looking, not the fastest, but goddamn if it ain't good at what it does.

fantastic software, great in combination with malwarebytes.

Finds/removes more crap than any competitors and has saved my arse on a number of occasions. Works great in combination with MBAM.

Not experienced any of the problems WolvenSpectre lists below.

Used for a couple of weeks and for free this software and those designing it should pay me for pain and suffering.

First it crippled a windows service for IP6 to IP4 conversions, then lied about doing it, and when me and others complained or stated that this was for some of us an essential service and others, like me, who just don't want a networking service to be removed, we were told "what did it break anything?"

Then in mid scans it would wipe out all my browsers cookies when I told it not to. When in the middle of one scan it crashed my browser and I had to reinstall it from scratch.

Then the final blow was when a scan wiped almost every restore point, then it ate all of my OpenOffice files. Luckily I had recently made backups.

My personal and professional advice...DO NOT USE (unless you have no other choice or they vastly improve the product from when I used it.

chrisdown, I didn't say I wouldn't use this app, just that I would have to run it at night. Just like when I defrag disks.

@Finn - Speed is no object when it comes to security. Any person who compromises on security for the sake of speed is a fool, and deserves to get infected.

This app takes a million years to check your hard-drives! You have to let it spend the night doing it...

I also use this antispyware tool for a long while and it works fine.

I also use Spyware Terminator, A Squared Free, A Squared HijackFree, Malwarebytes Anti-Malware ( free version ) and Spybot Search & Destroy.

I have been a user of malware type products since DAY 1. For a free app, this and MalwareBytes are THE BEST you can get. period. End of story. Don't waste your time with Syp Bot or AdAware except for sentimental reasons. Between these two apps, they will find virtually everything. And a big advantage over many such products is that they have a very low False Positive ratio. Some of the products out there are useless for that reason.

Simply the best! It works!
