Reviews for Synaptics Pointing Device Driver

Bizarrely, when I brought my Vista laptop it didn't come with a Synaptics driver installed, so I couldn't turn off that annoying 'tap to click' feature. I solved the problem by downloading a driver from the Synaptics website for free.

Handy for tweaking the touchpad behaviour, but hardly thrilling stuff.

aside from somtimes not reaching far enough, it's a good substitute for the lack of a mouse.

Beats the heck out of those nubs.

Will freeze from time to time but overall good.

Sometimes this software crashes, but it does it's work!

Touchpad doesn't scroll without this driver.

Came bundled with my Acer Aspire One... and it's tiny

It's used for managing settings for Synaptic Touchpad on notebooks, also right click its tray icon and select Accessories => MoodPad, great fun ;)

Need it to run any kind of smart scrolling. Min footprint if any on the system.
