Taskbar Shuffle is a small and simple program, that add a handy new functionality to your Windows taskbar - it enables you to rearrange the taskbar buttons by simply dragging them around. This feature can be quite useful if the order and arrangement of your taskbar buttons is of importance to you. Makes you wonder why the taskbar did not come with this feature in the first place.

I always wondered why Microsoft never saw fit to add this feature. Until Windows 7.
Very, very, very useful and free software. I was dreaming for something like this since XP was released.
It doesn't work on 64-bit systems (yet)... :(
I miss the "middle-click to close" functionality the most...
(Taskix seems to be an alternative with 64 bit support)
My taskbar occupies two lines and I can have a lot of programs open at a single time. This little app helps me organize the taskbar buttons as well as the system tray icons so things are easier to find.
Microsoft should have had this built-in to Windows a long time ago. I'm glad to hear that Windows 7 now has this feature built-in. But for now while I'm still in Vista, I'm keeping my Taskbar Shuffle with me.
This is a really handy little addition to windows, infact this functionality should have been there from the start. It allows you to move around the items on the taskbar so they are in a more sensible order for your use.,

It does what it promises to do; what else can I say? Reorder the position of tasks in the taskbar by simply dragging them. You can do the same for tasks in the tray. It works like a charm (although sometimes it hiccups briefly) and is perfect for aesthetic freaks like me!
I love this program because I have three buttons that are always the first three, but one of them has to be restarted often. Feature should be built in.
It's that what I need from the very beginning of Windows.
Great simple tool
I can no longer function without this program. It is an absolute must for me to have. The added feature to move around the tray icons makes it better than other software programs and is the most useful to me. Windows should consider adding this sort of feature into its OS one day.
1 word: awesome.
Anyone who has gotten used to tabs in their browser needs this program. Microsoft definitely should have included features like this in Windows.
A great little single purpose program that works flawlessly with not problems at all.
I don't actually use it to shuffle around taskbar buttons, but I like the feature where it keeps similar taskbar buttons together. Makes the taskbar neater.
i think its a really good software. this kinda freedom is what user need
