Task Paper can be anything you want it to be, as long as it has to do with lists. Just download it and try it. I have been using it for over a year now, and it never stands in the way.
Version 2.0 has just been released, very nice and adds templates, a better and more stylish way to present your lists while still remaining minimalism and functionality..
Taskpaper is great in that it is unobtrusive.. You can do a lot with it (tasks, projects, tagging), but you don't have to if you don't want to.. You can make an easy grocery shopping list, or make a very elaborate multi-project + archive list with tags on everything..
I really like the concept and the functionality is exactly what it claims to be, but in the end it was a little *too* minimal for me.
If you are looking for a flexible way to use with GTD (Getting Things Done), use TaskPaper. It just works brilliantly.
