Makes everything you hates with windows file copying using explorer go away.
How many times haven't you started a large copy/move operation in windows only to come back a couple of hours later to see that it waits an input from you confirming if you want to move/overwrite etc. Or even the whole operation cancelled due to an error. All this is handled easy with teracopy.
Another great thing that it takes care of is when you want to select files in different directories, partitions or hard drives before starting the copying. Normally you can only select multiple files within the same directory(or partition/hard drive), but teracopy handles this with a cue system.
And if you start a copying process and decide to copy a bunch of other files, the new files you want to copy is set in the cue and won't start until the earlier copy job is finished. With the normal windows explorer two parallel processes would have started slowing down everything to a crawl if the files are writing/reading from the same hard drive.
And it also integrates without any problems and never bugs out. Works even with vista 64!
Should have been part of windows a long time ago!
