A system tool on Mac
Terminator is a GPL terminal emulator. It is availabile on Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X, Linux and other Unix X11 systems. Terminator will run on any modern POSIX system with Java 5 or later.

If this is the terminator i think it is, its great for having multiple shells open at the same time in the same window, great for ssh'ing and ircing
