simple..
It's like a widget. Very simple and useful
Biggest revelation post-Windows. "You mean, it's Notepad and Wordpad combined? With ODT support? And small screen footprint?" Awesome. My go-to application for everything.
A really nice simple text editing application. Nice interface for what it does, too.
An awesome stock text editor. Not similar to Notepad on Windows. More like a sleek Wordpad with a little bit more functionality.
It's like WordPad for Mac.
Short on features, but can do the job just nicely. The interface is clean-cut, and doesn't crowd anything with great performance when you need it most. It's a free app, that comes as part of your OS X licence. It comes better off than the TextEdit on Windows, and has a few formatting features. Overall, cute, easy and smooth!
Perfect at what it does.
It's a simple notepad app. It does that perfectly.
For what it is, you can't fault it.
Ah, I miss it. Slightly. The best simple text editor I've ran into.
It's like notpad for mac
This does the job simply and effectively. It is my "first draft" tool of choice for short articles and the tool I use when editing code. Unlimited undos and redos and a very clean and simple interface make this one a winner - I don't need any other text editor.
Love it!
Hey, what can you say? It is free and it does the job. I actually used this to write document my first thesis notes. It is Mac's answer to Wordpad. I use this everyday to cut, paste, and modify html.
