''Cider is a sophisticated portability engine that allows Windows games to be
run on Intel Macs without any modifications to the original game source code.
Cider works by directly loading a Windows program into memory on an Intel-Mac
and linking it to an optimized version of the Win32 APIs. Games are
"wrapped" with the Cider engine and they simply run on the Mac.''
Which is exactly what the sims 3 is doing. They didn't write any new code for
the mac, which probably is why they could release it on one disc with the
windows version. (It's very unusual for mac games to be released the same date
as windows)
Very good game, still needs some patches because with some actions it gets
slow and crashes occasionaly. I like the fact that you can now customize every
object to every color you like, and there's more freedom in placing objects.
Also loading times have improved a lot since The Sims 2. The interface is clear
but I don't like the semi-drawing that let's you choose between what you want to
build. You have waaay more options about how you want a sim to look, at the
beginning all the features may seem confusing but it's easy to learn and the
help guide pretty much explains everything you need to know to play the game
smoothly. For $49,99 this game is a steal, and you get BOTH the Mac and PC on
one disc. Overall 4 stars.
Go Sims 3
i love how 44 people are using this and its not even out yet
best sims game ever but needs some updates hope that with the expansion packs it will be better :)

Ahhahah, Sims 3 is Calgari True Space.
