The 30th most popular anti-virus tool on Windows
ThreatFire constantly monitors the activity on your PC to detect signs of malicious behavior commonly used by malaware threats. It is able to hunt down and paralyze threats that are too new or too clever to be recognized by traditional security software.

Works fine. Upsates in the background.
You´ll forget about it´s there.
Some versions are okay and others are not. The latest version4.6 slowed down my machine and even would not let Firefox load. So I killed it until the next update. Went to Defender which does not seem to slow any machine down
Powerful, but my computer has slowed down since installation. I've only just installed it, so hopefully it will get better!
Pretty good - more HIPS than anti-virus and uses heuristics. I have tried it off and on over the past year and find it useful. It does not bogg my machine down nor have a very big footprint compared to some other similar apps - e.g. Defense Wall. It does though ask you to authorize a lot of stuff with pop-ups. Also has a Rootkit scanner.
After I installed it, my computer would freeze as soon as Windows started :(
I removed it (in safe mode) and everything went back to normal.
using since 3 months and so far so good speed and stability
i give it no 2 after quick heal as no 1
Free for most things you'ld want from this app, It does a decent job of catching thing's even Vista's UAC doesn't but works in a similar way. Still I recommend it, especially for XP users without UAC Protection.
After installing it, my computer slowed down to a crawl. Removed.
The lack of a more finely tuned scan scheduler, and auto update not working at all majority of the time, are really the only complaints I have about Threatfire. With the scheduler, it's sibling Spyware Doctor allows you to choose what day, but alas, Threatfire doesnt. And I cant even begin to figure out why the auto-update wont work as it should. No error messages, nada.
When AntiVir was installed and running along side of Threatfire. Threatfire had no work to do. Now I am running without ANTIVIR and Threatfire is picking up things that Antivir was not notifying me of. Cannot figure out which software works the best. I like the concept better than AV but we will see.
Its just not helping..my normal antivirus (Avira) does just fine...All threat fire does is warns me about things I know are not actual threats. Pointless software - just enable UAC instead.
I have not seen it do much, but it uses little resources, and adds a lot of peace of mind to your anti virus.
ThreatFire is a very nice piece of software. I wouldn't use it without a full-featured antivirus program, but it's nice because it works a different way. Instead of scanning files and folders for infections, it monitors the behavior of programs and prevents them from doing things they aren't supposed to. Very useful when combined with other antivirus and anti-spyware programs.
powerfull antivirus
better than pctools antivirus
Cyberhawk ran like crap but Threatfire is working out well. Why?
Soon I will upgrade for the three licenses.
Good program.
