digsby for the win! So regretting i bought a license, they're taking forever to release new builds. While a new client just pass them. Trillian = exit

Pidgin is much, much better than Trillian, although it's not so bad itself.

Pidgin is better in my opinion.

I think Pidgin is far superior.

I bought Trillian - it was a waste of my money and computer resources. Won't be recommending that to anyone.

I don't really have one fucking clue why I should install Trillian. It takes too much resources, it crashes whenever it has the feeling to crash; and it's not really user-friendly. I rather install all the messengers it supports, then installing this single application.

It's also somewhat unneeded nowadays, MSN Messenger supports Yahoo & AIM contacts too.

Too resource hungry. I use Pidgin, no conflicts with other programs.

    World's best multiclient-messenger.

Bulky and occasionally irritating, and sometimes marred by bizarre random bugs, but it still manages to be extremely convenient all the same, and it's far superior to running 6 separate programs.

Trillian is the best multiprotocal i/m program.

I don't understand the RAM complaints about Trillian and the suggestion to use Pidgin.... I just installed Pidgin and before I added any clients it was already using 4megs MORE than my fully configured Trillian. After I loaded the clients it was almost 10emgs MORE of RAM than Trillian. Try it for yourself and see. People screaming 'RAM Hogs! Pidgin is better! Have no clue.

It is fast, no ads, smaller than msn, allows many user login profile same time. I have been using last 5 years, so far I am very happy about it.

this would be my fault but when your installing this. you get that Wheater Channel thing. and believe me you dont want that on your PC. its like: your PC is doing it for 10 seconds after that i doesn't do anything for 1 minute then i works for 10 secs. and that al the time.

(but now i'm having really fast uninstall skills=D)

Earlier versions of Trillian were not so bad but the newer versions are just bulky ram hogging programs.

Another thing is you have to pay cash for the pro version.
I highly suggest Pidgin as an alternative.
