The most popular web client on Windows

TweetDeck is an Adobe Air desktop application that is currently in public beta. It aims to evolve the existing functionality of Twitter by taking an abundance of information (i.e twitter feeds), and breaking it down into more manageable bite sized pieces. TweetDeck enables users to split their main feed (All Tweets) into topic or group specific columns allowing a broader overview of tweets. To do this All Tweets are saved to a local database. The far left column will always contain All Tweets. The GROUP, SEARCH and REPLIES buttons then allow the user to make up additional columns populated from the database. Once created these additional columns will automatically update allowing the user to keep track of a twitter threads far easier.

Great program. It's not only usable for Twitter, it also manages my feeds - "only status updates" and "full live feed" - of Facebook. great!
Especially the popping up thing - that way, you cannot miss anything in the feed.

I wish I could customize the column sizes more, and the memory is a bit greedy when left open awhile, but otherwise, perfect for my needs. I like that I can now make comments on other social networks than twitter, without having to open up a browser.

In my opinion this is one of the best social network clients out there. It's main aim is to be a twitter client but it also gives the use the option to post to FaceBook and Myspace with more social networks coming soon.

Feature wise it is packed full, with options to post to multiple accounts, there are also options to shrink down URL's and upload to twitpic(or other services)along with this there is also an option to shrink down entire tweets using "txt typing".

Interface is good when your used to it but for newer users it can be confusing.
I've only ever had very slight performance issues but none the less they need to be addressed, despire this it runs in the back ground seamlessly without any impact on system performance.

Best of all is cross platform and free so it's worth a try in my opinion.

Wonderful, you can use it with multiple Twitter-accounts, Myspace-accounts, and one Facebookaccount at one time. You even can choose to only follow up the status updates (Facebook), only from selected friends (Facebook), only direct messages/ tweets (Twitter), or update multiple accounts/ clients with the same tweet/update (e.g.: type in once, select to update to Facebook AND twitter account 1 AND twitter account 2 AND ...). You even can update to Facebook pages you're admin of. Too easy! Great thing!

Best of a great bunch of clients, no matter which others I try, I always end up coming back to TD, glad to see it's popularity growing with branded versions too!

Он не понимает и не отображает кириллицу! Во-всяком случае, у меня, поэтому как поставил, так сразу и удалил. Но, конечно, красивый интерфейс.
