The most popular web client on Windows

TweetDeck is an Adobe Air desktop application that is currently in public beta. It aims to evolve the existing functionality of Twitter by taking an abundance of information (i.e twitter feeds), and breaking it down into more manageable bite sized pieces. TweetDeck enables users to split their main feed (All Tweets) into topic or group specific columns allowing a broader overview of tweets. To do this All Tweets are saved to a local database. The far left column will always contain All Tweets. The GROUP, SEARCH and REPLIES buttons then allow the user to make up additional columns populated from the database. Once created these additional columns will automatically update allowing the user to keep track of a twitter threads far easier.

Exceptional Twitter client, great features. Only annoyance is the memory issues with groups. Tweets for a certain group will not be shown unless they get posted while the app is running. Otherwise, really great

Tweetdeck rules for Twitter and handling multiple accounts! Haven't tried the FB feature yet but looking forward to it. The column setup is nice but I wish you could setup multiple searches into one column to reduce the amount of real-estate it takes up.

Flawless on a pc, a little slow/buggy on the iPhone, but still great app until Tweetie2 came out anyway.

My favorite Twitter/Facebook client for 2009 on both OSX and iPhone. I wish the search didn't form a new column you have to later delete, especially when I'm just looking for something quick. All in all though, still the best of breed.

Twitter has been this easy all right. Simple sturdy and a must have for all avid twitter users. Makes twittering simple, drag n drop photos, shoten link & text too. Manage multiple accounts. The only drawback i find is not able to resize the individual columns. Get 0.31 adds New Followers feature.
