The most popular web client on Windows

TweetDeck is an Adobe Air desktop application that is currently in public beta. It aims to evolve the existing functionality of Twitter by taking an abundance of information (i.e twitter feeds), and breaking it down into more manageable bite sized pieces. TweetDeck enables users to split their main feed (All Tweets) into topic or group specific columns allowing a broader overview of tweets. To do this All Tweets are saved to a local database. The far left column will always contain All Tweets. The GROUP, SEARCH and REPLIES buttons then allow the user to make up additional columns populated from the database. Once created these additional columns will automatically update allowing the user to keep track of a twitter threads far easier.

Every time I log on it asks me to create a tweetdeck account and every time it fails. There are other little annoyances, but overall, I like the column layout. The Facebook integration is nice but there are features missing so I end up going to the website.

Used to be a lot better, the columns are great, but they seem to have problems sometimes.

A good app, but it's new notification feature doesn't really excite me, it would be good to see it integrate with Growl on the Mac. The UI is also very 'busy', so I'll still use TweetDeck on Windows and Ubuntu, but on the Mac it has to be Twitterrific

great air application, what means that it's compatible with any operative system, and it's also great to get your last news from twitter, facebook and myspace in a single application. Highly recommended.

I love that it lets me check every aspect of my Twitter all in one place. The speed is pretty good and I love the interface. I just wish they'd recommend better people for me to follow. :P

Exceptional Twitter client, great features. Only annoyance is the memory issues with groups. Tweets for a certain group will not be shown unless they get posted while the app is running. Otherwise, really great

Tweetdeck rules for Twitter and handling multiple accounts! Haven't tried the FB feature yet but looking forward to it. The column setup is nice but I wish you could setup multiple searches into one column to reduce the amount of real-estate it takes up.
