This is a great application that makes the flood that is Twitter much easier
to manage. The ability to group people and let those alerts ping you is
fantastic. Plus with the new enhancements to allow Facebook tracking makes this
a very powerful tool.
BIG COMPLAINT: being built in the Adobe Air system means that you will
experience Memory Leaks and this application can crash your system. If you only
have a handful of people that you are following (under 200) then you might not
see the problem, but when you get near the 1000 mark you will see a significant
performance hit.
This is not a problem with TweetDeck, but with the Adobe Air system. If Adobe
could get their act together then great developers making great systems could
actually have products that excel instead of getting blame that is not theirs to
take.
