Ultrastar Deluxe is a Karaoke Software for PC similiar to Sonys Singstar for PS2. It evaluates your singing by analyzing your voice pitch. You can sing different Songs with up to 3 Players(One Screen)/6 Players(Dual Screen). Ultrastar Songs consists of a mp3-file with the audio data, a txt file with lyrics and tone data and an optional Cover, Background or Video.
So you are able to create your own Songs by owning a mp3 file of the Song and some musicial Skill by using the Built-in Editor and Midi-Converter.

Ultrastar Deluxe is a fork of Ultrastar. This means the code base for this Software is the “official” Ultrastar version 0.5.0 by Corvus5. Some Features from earlier Versions 0.5.1 and 0.5.2, like the recording options were added to Ultrastar Deluxe, too.

But Ultrastar Deluxe differs in many ways from Ultrastar. The first thing to mention are the many features that were added in the 1.0 Version. Some Examples are the LineBonus(USD was the first US-Clone/Mod that has these Feature working), Party Mode, improved Song Management/Selection and extended Statistics.
