A browser on Linux

Uzbl follows the UNIX philosophy: "Write programs that do one thing and do it well. Write programs to work together. Write programs to handle text streams, because that is a universal interface."

    Uzbl is quite usable.

Uzbl offers simply no graphical interface for browsing. Instead it provides a unix socket and a pipe interface, that is enabling shellscripts or anything you can imagine to access the browsers functionality.
