I on the contrary felt the gameplay,I got sucked up by everything.
That is,after the first "mini" boss fight, then the music pumped up,and I got into the game and it's controls.
I loved smashing up my enemies and seeing the screen zoom in and the combo counter getting higher.

Great art, but didn't feel the gameplay. Fixed height jumps felt odd and the combat seemed weak.
This game rocks man,I played the first demo of the demo, and that's my experience.
I liked it even more after the first "sort of" boss fight in stage 1,the music got intenser, and new gameplay mechanics were introduced,I rocked on till I reach the end of the stage.
So it's amazing imo, sort of like Castlevania gameplay (which is a big compliment imo).
So really try it peeps if you haven't already and think you might like this.
I still need to play the other stages of the demo (3 in total if I remember correctly).
But I haven't had anytime last week, but now it's vacation here,so I will play the demo again coming days.
