better than premiere pro in my opinion

Great program - I'm just getting into video editing but Adobe Premier looked too daunting so have gone for this option. Works well and outputs in great quality.

Superior to many "Standard" montage apps, great codec sets, great features, can't live without it.

So many awesome features that other programs just don't have. This is one of the best video editing programs out there.

A worthy and affordable alternative to Avid, Final Cut Pro, or Premiere, Sony Vegas offers all the features one could need in a professional NLE. In addition, Vegas has the best audio workflow of any NLE to due it's origins as an audio editor.

The best video & audio tool I've ever used :) . It's in the middle of tool for simple and tool for advanced users.

Horrible program.
A much better alternative is Adobe Premiere and After Effects.
Sure vegas is easy to crack, but that doesn't make it any good.
Slow and sluggish and not many included effects make it a bad program. Even windows movie maker is better.
