VirtualDubMod is a unification of several popular modifications of the famous video editing software VirtualDub by Avery Lee. It started out as a unification of three projects, VirtualDubMPeg2, VirtualDubOGM and VirtualDubAVS. But since then a lot of new features have been introduced. Among them: Matroska support, Multiple (>2) audio stream support for all output formats, and Improved AviSynth integration.

    I concur with CyberRax - but for me, VDubMod is the only editor I use.

    Altough the original VirtualDub has evolved quite a bit over the years (recent versions IIRC even supported the disliked VBR mode for MP3s) VDMod is still unreplaceable when dealing with multiple audiotracks or splitting an AVI (as VDMod shows the size of the part before the splitting point).
    So I´m still using it, despite the fat that it´s been years since the last update.
