The 224th most popular network tool on Windows
… More EditVista Anti Lag (VAL) is a small application which runs in the background preventing Windows Vista from lagging your wireless network. It works very well.
It does so by disabling the Wireless Polling feature in Vista, which was once easily disabled by killing a service in XP. However, the wireless polling service and wifi service merged, and so Vista Anti Lag had to come into the picture.

Works perfectly. Used to get lag spikes like every minute, but when using this everything runs flawlessly. Really works, and it it's free!
VAL works perfectly for me. Before in games I used to stutter and get lag spikes, and my wifi would cut out every few minutes. I ran this and I'm running flawlessly. No lag whatsoever and internet never cuts out. Anyone with wifi and Vista should definitely get this.
VAL - Vista Anti Lag is great!
Its for people with wireless networks using windows vista. Basically if you let windows manage your wireless connection, it will drop for about 1 second every minute, although not noticable most of the time, during online gaming you may experience lag and during downloads they will stop every minute causing the time left to increase.
I suggest everyone with a wireless connection uses this great software as it really works.
