that was an unpleasant experience. i installed after reading all the positive reviews and expected something amazing but didn't get it. where's the "search computer for media" element? media player may be overblown but it does look and feel so much more complete and user friendly. if they come up with a much better interface and extra features i will revisit but until then i won't give it any good reviews.

cool player... supports all kinds of file types...
dump any extension in it and it will play. N!CE
The ONE media player that plays *everything*! A bit clunky on the UI front, but nonetheless, an awesome open source product in its own right!
It's incredible the sound that it has. But it is complicated when I pause (it's not immediate) and it's very slow when I play some 1080p videos. Sometimes it's complicated with the subs.
Great player, but the performance is a bit lacky - especially when it comes to HD movies.
