I use this app to watch ALL MY PORN!!!
If you have a media file, and your OS's default media player won't play it, i can bet VLC will. its a small footprint app with a HUGE amount of power. It will play almost anything, on anything, with fantastic cross platform support.
If only it had reasonable uPNP support it would be perfect

It's meh. Interface is definitely unattractive. Best video player on Linux though, due to its extensive video format support. On Windows, I just use WMP and K-lite though.

It's the best! This media player is very compatible with almost every format out there.
By far the best Video player out there, compatible with most video formats. Excellent performance, very straight forward GUI, streamlined, and no extra junk features clogging up the system resources. I like the new GUI much better as most of the feature settings you need are now accessible without having to go through hundreds of menu's and selections to get there.
i use it for all my video so far the only thing it cant play is rmvb but you rarely see that format because its useless lol
Only missing uPNP support
Very, very nice software. Only an issue with playlists starting with the last selected first.
