This is by far the greatest virtualization tool available. On Linux I used
VirtualBox at first, but VMware also works great. Only downside is the pricing.
But that's way cheaper then spending 4 hours on installing a new OS on your PC
if you just want to test a few things
VMWare is by far the BEST software for virtualizing out of all that I have tried!
Not much else compares in virtualization.
Cant wait until version 7.
I love VMWare, and use it almost everyday.
Who doesn't love virtual machines? This lets me run and try out new operating systems, and also test for bugs in a safe environment =]
very good VM in Linux

My favorite choice for VMs. VMware is the least buggiest of the virtualization products I've tested.
Just saw a Mac appliance of OS X that will work in VMware. How cool is that? Running OSx inside XP or Windows 7 with VMware proving the host.
Works like a charm when you want to test with different environments or want multiple environments on the same machine.
Expensive, but definitely worth the cash spent.
The ability to mount vmdk's as if they were actual disk drives is really nifty.
A bit pricey, but good. Sometimes I have had trouble closing it though.
The BEST virtual machine software out there.
vmware rocks!
