I see several other users have said they heard about Wakoopa on the TWiT
podcast Windows Weekly with Paul Thurrott. That's where I first heard about it
as well. I thought it might be kind of interesting, but I never planned on
checking it out. A few days later I was searching for a piece of software and
Google and Wakoopa showed up in the results. I recognized the name from the
podcast and decided why not check it out. I'm glad I did because I love it.
Yea, it's cool that Wakoopa tracks what software I use and that I can also
check out what my friend's are using. But what I really love using it for is
finding people with similar software usage and seeing what else they use that I
might not have but find useful. It's great for discovering other software.
I can't wait for the Linux version to be available. More fuel for this new
addiction. ;)
