Weather Watcher is your personal Windows desktop weather station. Automatically retrieve the current conditions, hourly forecast, daily forecast, detailed forecast, severe weather alerts (US only), and weather maps for over 77,000 cities world-wide. The current conditions can be quickly viewed by holding your mouse pointer over the Weather Watcher system tray icon.

Ran a while and was not impressed by the interface. I would receive errors beyond the norm and deleted from computer.
This is a great little weather tool. I have tried a few tools like this and this one is, by far, one of the best. I like being able to know the outdoor temperature just by looking at the tray icon and being able to get a general report of current conditions by hovering my mouse over the tray icon. Double clicking it gives you a more detailed view and extended forcast. What is especially nice is the hour-by-hour forcast, where you can see what the expected conditions are for any time of day. There are 2 versions offered. One of them comes bundled with adware. Be sure to download the ad-free version and send the developer a small donation. It is well worth it.
