It is a great idea but the privacy aspect is kind of scary. But, it is GREAT for searches related to what you done before. I would recommend it. Also the side bar is more useful than it is anoying
Aside of the irritating side bar this add-on for Firefox does a nice job of integrating social services and related searches into Google. If you aren't too worried about privacy give the web recording facility a twirl too- its nice to have customized related searches to what you've done in the past!
