This is my favorite media player, it's great for managing music and maintaining a wide library. Many options and features, may seem complex at first but once you learn it you love it.

It's a good music player and I also like Winamp Radio feature where you can share your music around the world via. web browser. Great program!

Unwieldy, awkward to use, horribly slow, and consumes far too much memory.
Video files display with impaired quality and with even more horrendous resource hogging.
One of the few inbuilt visualisations has a high chance of instantly BSOD'ing my computer.
With a more recent update, extended file information from third-party input plugins is not shown while playing.

In short, the ONLY reason I use this is for emulated game music format plugins that aren't supported by anything else.
That and seamless .WAV looping, and it handles MIDIs *slightly* better than others... but is more unstable while playing them.
There's no way in Hades I'd pay money for the Pro version.

I've tried lots of other players - keep coming back to winamp, especially with the ipod plugins available now. No need at all for iTunes. Ewww!

It is great. Completely customizable to my taste and needs. With the help of pluggins it is possible to add even more capabilities.

I love that I can use so many cool skins on Winamp. I haven't used this in ages, though. Not since I upgraded from Windows 2000. I should probably get this again later.
