@baktra - yes, it is in Vista... and also there's a little gem of an antiquated dialog box in Vista when you go to the Font folder and select "install new font." For years and years, that fox has been jumping over that hellishly lazy dog. =P
Just used it to verified I have installed a font onto my system.
If you open a font, this window opens to show the selected font :)
