I can't really complain. Either install the app or don't use it at all.
Ancient technology, but it's the standard. Absolute pain to develop for, but once you understand its way of thinking it begins to make sense. If you're a developer, you should definitely check out WiX for MSI development.
I've seen some better installers but this one is just great
