i use this to watch tv on my pc and record programs and shows.
I love this app, I like any app that hogs a place in my system tray doing nothing. I never need to click it which makes it even more likeable and even makes use of my RAM and cpu from time to time.
The Windows Media Center tray notifier does its job. It sits there and lets me know what Windows Media Center is doing: recording a program, downloading updates, or whatever.
Once I had 4MB memory in my PC. Now I have about 60MB of tray app's running since nobody asks and nobody explains why I need them. So I guess most tray apps are bad by design.
