WMP11 is the best music player for Windows out there, hands down. The library
and playlist functions are outstanding, performance is great, and last but not
least, it actually fits in with Windows, instead of looking like a damn
Fisher-Price toy (I'm looking at you, Winamp!). True, it cannot play all the
formats that, say, foobar2000 can, but since my music collection is almost
entirely in MP3 format, that's no skin off my back.
I love this software... iTunes pales next to it. Some people say WMA sucks...
if it does, don't use it. It's easy to get MP11 to encode in MP3 format. With
the addition of an easy to install codec pack this player is top notch. The only
one better is XBMC for the original xbox :)
Holds its own with the basic stuff, but, along with lag, I've experienced it
refusing to open files it doesn't feel comfortable with, whereas GOM Player
opens seamlessly.
Why does everyone hate WMP so much? I personally love it much more then
Winamp. Loads faster, has a nicer UI, and a MUCH nicer library interface when
searching for music.
Piece of shit.
MS WM11 still gives the best 5.1 and 7.1 listening experience for my CD's and music files when compared with other multimedia players.

look nice and works better than itunes (on vista) for the time, but is a horrible player.
Only good for basic use. Awful for music management. Need good library management? Get the pioneer in audio players, Winamp.
Best Media Player in my opinion. Nice library, very stable just lacks minor customisation features...

Always my preferred video player. Quick, stable, lots of options.
It's ok, but not the best.

This program makes me want to vomit all over my computer. Go with winamp in my humble opinion.
