Very effective rainbow table pass cracker.
Version 2.3 onwards also cracks NTLM hashes, which is essential if the genesis of the LM hash isn't enabled, or if the pass is longer than 14 characters - where the LM hash isn't stored.
Ophcrack is a free Windows password cracker based on rainbow tables. Its faster than Cain, because Cain uses brute-force.
Rainbow tables exploit on windoze passwords. In English: use it to see the passwords of the users on winblows computers. NOTE: the installable windoze program works, but you have to get past security measures. The Live CD will blast through that automatically, and have the passwords in a matter of minutes. Great for hackers. >:)
