There is no comparison with other archivers; it is not only the compression
ratio that counts, but lots of other helpful functionalities that others like
WinZip or 7Zip don't have. Some are automatically remove archive-files after
succesful extraction, or (my favourite) queue a batch of extraction processes
("wait if other winrar archive is active")
great software, i use an addon for it called RarSlave ... makes repairing
(using QuickPAR) and extracting (using WinRAR) of multiple archives a thing of 1
click.
I use it many years, it works very good, I had no problems.

the only thing it's better than 7zip is- changable skin.
winrar users, wish u happy on clicking the shareware registration notification window every time u use it or paying 4 simply zip and unzip files. XD

Simple to use, fast, great archive tool.
Its reliable, thats all i could say. I only keep it due to the fact that not all rar archives can open with 7-Zip.
