i still use this software with a card out 1997 and it still works like a charm pip on my games or multitasking for sound problems like the first user said yes that happens only when a other sound application crashes. but just close aplication and restart ever ting is fine i tried sevaral other software solutions and this software does his job preetty good
The software comes bundled with Hauppauge Computer Works video capture cards. Its a fairly basic program for watching live TV and time-shifting live time TV (recording a live stream so one can pause/rewind/fast-forward it). It also works on other video inputs (ie: watching & digitizing a VCR connected to the Hauppauge card). For what its supposed to do, it does an adequate job at it. For the price (free with purchase) its also merely adequate.
IF u use this, u must be the most gutted person in da world, just like me! it worked ok for the first month or so, then it wouldnt record sound anymore, which i found out after recording a 3 hour movie over nite! and now, it has no channels, and despite re installing, i still cannot set any channels up!
if your looking to buy a TV card, dnt buy from this company. their software is poorly written, and being a developer myself, i should know!
