    IS NOT a application for beginners... if this was true what about Notepad... i see wordpad as a smokin' fast RichText editor that can be powerfull on doing to-do lists and basic researches. Is not important how simple is the app, important is how u use it.

    Wordpad on Windows 7 it's excelent, it had all the basic things that yo need.. Support ODF and docx. But it dont chck spelling.. :(

    I've no idea why I used to use this so much. There's so many better alternatives available. Even so, for the simle job that it does, I guess you can't really fault it.

    I use this in the times I don't have Microsoft Office installed yet.
