World in Conflict is a real-time tactical video game developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Sierra Entertainment for Windows and the Xbox 360. The game is set in 1989 where economic troubles cripple the Soviet Union and threaten to dissolve it. However, the title pursues a 'what if' scenario where the Soviet Union does not collapse and instead pursues a course of war to remain in power.

Incredible multi-player that brings the FPS style "server" to a multi-role RTS battlefield.

Not your typical RTS, as you work in squads on teams and focus more on micro-managing rather than building. The campaign feels kind of odd because of this, but not too much. Online is fun if you play with the right people. The game has awesome production values as well. Overall, worth checking out for RTS fans.

Definitely the best strategy game of year 2007, perfect campaign, and fine multiplayer(sometimes quite a chaotic, but you will adapt to it). Buy it, if you can !
