Fun game, very easy and relaxing.
The standard for the mmo industry, the game everyone compares other
mmorpgs too.
Quests are ok, repetitive but that's not a bad thing, new quests all the time
would get annoying having to read everything.
Pvp is very gear based but since you are able to earn gear by pvp, that's
not a bad thing, just character development.
Community is what it is in every game. Some nice some rude. Just use your own
brains to figure out who to avoid.
Customer support is way up there, one of the best support teams I've faced.
The wait times can get a little annoying but that understandable at such large
scale.
Endgame is fun if you have time on your hands. Don't expect to enjoy endgame
when you want to enjoy it. Guilds have fixed raid times and if you don't show up
that's your problem (and theirs).
Spam is OK. There are add-ons that block most spam without you ever noticing
it.
Account security is an issue. This being the most popular mmorpg causes a lot
of account hacking through phishing and key-logging, although blizzard has a
very kind support team and no mater what happens to your account. You'll always
be able to get it back unharmed. (don't push your luck though)
Graphics are old but they still work great. Due to the artstyle (being a
blend between realism and cartoon style) detail is not really that big of an
issue.
Game feeling is the best you'll get in an mmorpg, due to good servers and a
good client instant means instant. Skills will trigger the second you click them
(or push the hotkey for them) and this makes for a very interesting and active
play style. You are able to react to an enemies action in a split second.
Movement and animation are also very good. Everything is smooth and you'll
love jumping around hitting stuff.
Overall this is a great buy, It's a good game.
Don't let the game consume you. Living within wow gets boring fast. Real
life first ^-^
