0.16.0 is just what I need for an IRC client.
Don't get me wrong...I LOVE X-Chat but this 'port' is just annoying and unfinished; I'd recommend installing the 'real' X-Chat via macports.
Missing features that the traditional Xchat has.
Pity it hasn't been updated in ages, but it's still a great IRC client.
Hell yeah :D. I find it sometimes crashes if I don't open it for a few days but that's no problem it's a great app. Does everything I need for an IRC client.
Great little IRC client.
It's a good IRC client for mac. Some minor little annoyances I have come across, but apart from that it's a nice client which is easy to use.
Nice, feature strong app with a great, minimalist interface.
The best IRC client I've tried on the mac. The others I've tried all start to get laggy when you get over a thousand messages in a window, or when you have logging turned on.
an irc-client i tested and diden't like
It's the only one I use, but it does the job even though the scripts are hard to produce.
X-Chat Aqua is, in my mind, the best IRC client for OS X. It is incredibly easy to use and customize. It even offers Ruby, TCL, and Python scripting.
The best OS X GUI IRC client if you're serious about IRC, and don't want a cheesy IM-type interface. Has the same scripting engine powered by perl as the native Unix version.
