As a laptop user, this is an excellent program to slip down your applications. They quickly came out with an update to manage 64bit versions of software. If you are a laptop user, buy this application.
I got around 4,5GB back from slimming pretty much all my apps. You can blacklist applications so Xslimmer doesn't touch them.
Specially recommended if you use any Adobe suite.
