Wonderful tool for me and my team.
Does a fine job for retrieving updates, however the desktop app does not add any value for the web app.
This new version is bad. Go to tray and never back on both, windows and linux. I like the new interface, but I prefer stability.
Run really well, no crashes and make a lot of features available in a small place.
I use this a lot to stay in contact with my colleagues. Although Twitter often is forbidden at work, this one is allowed. Have it running on my desktop at work time and again. Won't let it run all the time though. I'm easily distracted :-)
This works really well, we use it intensely in our company.
A kind of corporate Twitter-like system. Ideal for quick communications within the company. It still has a few bugs (not being able to paste an URL in the client when replying to someone), but none too obtrusive ones.

Like Twitter? Yammer is a 'private' company-wide twitter platform. It is usefull for internal communications
I'm a new Yammer user, and I'm not certain how it's going to go, but working in a small start up it seems like a very good method of communication.

This has positively impacted internal communications. I couldn't imagine not having a tool like this now.
