Great site to find new restaurants. Definitely a traveler's companion

Good site for restaurant reviews, although in practice, I find that a lot of places haven't been reviewed before so it may not always be helpful.

i cant live without yelp! i use it on my iphone & my laptop.

Great place to get an idea of a place you haven't been before as well as venue to share your opinions and experiences with different businesses.

I do enjoy using this site to review places I've gone to, but strangely I don't find myself going here often to check reviews. I guess somehow I still don't trust the opinions of others and prefer to see a place for myself.

I love this website. I use it to rate different establishments.

I wish more of my friends used Yelp, so I could take more advantage of some of the social features. Yelp has been very helpful in finding and trying new restaurants, and other businesses.

I was very unimpressed with Yelp. I took places I know, and it was hard to get to what I know to be the good restaurants, and the reviews were sometimes flakey. Perhaps it is better for bigger cities than smaller ones, but I would not want to have to dine well on the basis of the recommendations there.

Yelp is nice for bigger cities, where there's plenty of reviews, but seems to suffer in the medium-size and smaller cities.

Love Yelp, great community of people here in Phx on Yelp and great site. Only reason I marked them down is they don't have an API for events and don't plan on it but have events on their site... just annoys me lol

I check almost every restaurant on Yelp now before visiting it. Great community base, and wide adoption.
