yola offers a free Web site creation tool that allows people without programming skills to easily create professional quality Web sites. With yola's intuitive drag and drop technology, users can incorporate a variety of widgets including YouTube videos, Google Gadgets, PayPal Widgets and many more without needing to leave the yola builder or see any html code. It also offers an online store front, blogging and simple domain registration. In October 2008, the company added new functionality allowing users to purchase their own domain name – previously, the only options were hosting sites in a sub domain or publishing to a domain purchased elsewhere. In December 2008, yola agrees to acquire Clickpass, an OpenID provider and authentication gateway that simplifies OpenID integration and use. The acquisition will eliminate the hassle of multiple sign-ins and create a seamless Web site building experience for users.

  I just saw this in one user's list and decided to check what it is and noticed its name is changed by now from Synthasite to Yola.

  Haven't used it yet but looks like a promising one ^_^
