Zbrush is amazing even if It's workflow and outlook is ass backwards coming from traditional 3D, you should all check out 3D-Coat too,which has some unique and powerful stuff going on right now, if you can understand why modelling in voxels is better than how brush works currently that is. Which isn't immediately obvious why thats great, but it is.. great

The best 3D programming software i've seen other than Maya that is.But Maya got lots of spec requirements.zBrush looks great on a 1.2 Ghz and 128 MB of RD-Ram even.
