The 19th most popular player on Windows

Share
Zoom Player plays most popular video and sound files found on the internet, and then some, with incredible ease of use. One of its' most powerful features is a codec install center that reliably downloads, installs, configures and updates popular codecs with a single click of a button. Works well on fresh windows installs that have no codecs installed, and installs them correctly so other players benefit from them as well. Once the install center is ran, it plays most every file available on the internet, instantly. Another popular feature is the ability to automatically play the next file in the directory upon completion. (No need to make a playlist!) Has endless configuration options for the UI, an attractive default skin, very technical video and audio options including on-the-fly filter and stream selection, and a gradually improving HTPC / Media Center menu.

Shown to me by a friend, I was doubtful of this program's potential when I first opened it. While its interface may not be as attractive, or its resolution that great, it still is a fine program for audio-video play.

I love the looks of this program. It also deals great when playing any video format I throw at it. It can even "grab" the picture of a specific frame of the video! (A feature I discovered not too long ago) The only problem I have with this program is when I full screen, the video gets somewhat pixel-y. Still looking for a way to fix that. Nonetheless, a great program. It may just replace VLC Player for me.

Love this player. Starts fast, got plenty of features (gotta love the Installation Center). The free version should suit for all your needs, get the pro if you're a power user.

This player continually impresses me and I use its' included install center (and it alone) to manage the codecs installed on all my machines. Does an outstanding job of playing any format available on the internet, and consistently keeps my codecs up to date and configured correctly! Also, I love the play next file in directory feature.

This is my favourite media player because of all the features. Best of all is the use of the scroll mouse to do anything you want with the video file / screen without having to exit full screen mode.

I also love all the options (timeline data, start in full screen, close player after playlist etc..), though the interface menu in advanced mode always confuses me!

What I like about this player is the automatic play on the next video file without having a playlist first...When I watch my ripped episodes one after another, it comes in very handy!

Nice video player with lots of mouse input/keyboard input options. The pay-for Pro version is slightly better with additional DVD playback options, but the normal version does everything I need.
